There are 3 major healthcare systems who run healthcare in Milwaukee, that reach across the state of Wisconsin and beyond. All three have missions that supposedly also center the sanctity of human health and life.  And yet they, like every single other hospital system in the United States, have said nothing about the destruction of hospitals in Gaza.

As the fall-out of the election unfurls upon us, we must remember that it was pro-genocide Zionists who helped cement Harris’ position as a status-quo politician. Ann Jacobs’ hard work helped ensure Harris would proceed with an unpopular platform and a disastrous campaign strategy, facilitating Trump’s victory.

Palestinian solidarity activists in Milwaukee have been threatened, spat on, and subject to trespassing and vandalism in their homes. Five of them were beaten, restrained and dragged into custody by police. Some Zionists even went to Marquette under the cover of darkness and armed with a pistol to desecrate a Palestinian memorial.

Beginnings are hard. Some of them you’re forced into: being born, your first day at school, the first time you have to pay your own rent. This is different: we’re voluntarily starting something new, we aren’t sure how it will go, but we hope it’s worth the effort.
